Join us for Andrei Tarkovsky’s historical epic 𝘈𝘯π˜₯𝘳𝘦π˜ͺ π˜™π˜Άπ˜£π˜π˜¦π˜· (1966). 𝘈𝘯π˜₯𝘳𝘦π˜ͺ π˜™π˜Άπ˜£π˜π˜¦π˜· chronicles the life of Andrei Rublev (Anatoly Solonitsyn), a real-life 15th-century Russian icon painter, who grapples with the place of art and faith in a politically turbulent period in Russian history. Often regarded as one of the greatest films ever made, 𝘈𝘯π˜₯𝘳𝘦π˜ͺ π˜™π˜Άπ˜£π˜π˜¦π˜· is a towering work (running close to four hours) and so we are very excited to be showing it here. The screening is free and open to all (but food and drink are prohibited).
