Former Visiting Scholar awarded Worshipful Company of Musicians Silver Medal

Rakhat-Bi Abdyssagin, Visiting Scholar (2023), was last week awarded the Silver Medal by the Worshipful Company of Musicians in London. The Worshipful Company of Musicians in London dates back to 1350, and since 1889 they have been awarding the Silver Medal to ‘the most distinguished young musician in the UK’, nominated by one of the leading UK music institutions.
