Refurbished Lower Common Room Opens
We’re delighted to announce that the Lower Common Room is now open following comprehensive refurbishment work that has taken place over the summer.
The improved design will inject new life into the Lower Common Room while great care has been taken to ensure it remains sympathetic in style to Wolfson’s original 1970s Powell and Moya architecture.
The revived space showcases some of the best of Wolfson’s contemporary art collection while new seating areas provide the perfect place to relax with a cup of tea, catch up with friends or work in a comfortable environment.
The renovation of the Lower Common room was designed by local Oxfordshire architects, DuCroz and made possible by the generous support of Derek Boyd (Visiting Fellow, 1988).
We hope you enjoy using this wonderful space during the upcoming academic year and beyond.
