Following its Ofsted inspection at the end of July, Wolfson College Day Nursery received a ‘Good’ rating in the report which is now available to read on Ofsted’s website.

The Nursery was assessed as ‘Good’ across all four categories (quality of education; behaviour and attitudes; personal development; and leadership and management). The report particularly highlighted the nursery’s support of language and communication skills, quality of SEND provision, a happy and settled environment, strong teaching in maths and sciences, encouragement of a love of books, and quality of feedback about children’s development. To have achieved this positive outcome is tribute to all the staff’s hard work, commitment, and care for the children.

The Nursery will be working hard to make improvements in the areas where the inspection found these can be achieved.

Wolfson’s President, Sir Tim Hitchens, said, “I am delighted that the Wolfson Nursery has been assessed as ‘Good’ across all four categories. This is a great tribute to our wonderful staff: we look forward to continuing to support our youngest “wolves” in a stimulating and loving environment.”
