Wolfson Research Fellow features in New Scientist
The work of Wolfson Research Fellow, Dr Andrei Constantin has recently been covered in the New Scientist. A fascinating glimpse into the Royal Society Dorothy Hodgkin Fellow’s research, the article explores the possibility that the symbols and mathematical operations used in the laws of physics follow a pattern that could reveal something fundamental about the universe.
The New Scientist article follows a piece in Quanta Magazine earlier this year, examining Dr Constantin’s work on string theory, and in particular his role in leading the discovery of a handful of formulas that reduce the time needed for the analysis of string theory models from several months of computational efforts to a split second.
