Wolfson RF Priya Atwal has been announced as one of three judges for this year’s ‘The Conversation Prize’.

An initiative run by The Conversation UK, Curtis Brown and Faber, submissions are open to academics and PhD students in a variety of disciplines, who are keen to write about their research for a general audience.

The winning entry will receive a £1000 prize and a mentorship opportunity to develop a nonfiction book idea with a literary agent and publisher. Anyone at a higher education institution in the UK, Europe or Commonwealth can apply.

Priya will sit on the judging panel alongside science journalist Miriam Frankel and Alice Hunt, professor of early modern literature and history at the University of Southampton.
