Dr Henry Hardy edits the writings of the philosopher and historian of ideas Isaiah Berlin, the founding President of Wolfson. He became Berlin’s editor in the mid-1970s (while a graduate student at the College), and one of his original Literary Trustees in 1996.
Hardy has been working full-time on Berlin since 1990, and has now edited or co-edited 18 of his books, as well as a four-volume edition of his letters – the last volume of which (Affirming: Letters 1975 – 1997, co-edited with Mark Pottle and Nicholas Hall) was published in September 2015.
Whilst a graduate student he conducted the College choir, and helped set up the College Music Society.
