Wolfson Mentor Connect Programme

Transitioning from PhD to your next professional role, whether academic or non-academic, is an exciting yet often daunting journey. The years following a PhD are essential for early-career professionals as they work to define their research agenda and navigate a competitive job market. This period often involves short-term contracts, numerous job and grant applications, and relocation across institutions, cities or even countries.

To support Post-doctoral Fellows during this crucial period, the College is delighted to introduce the Wolfson Mentor Connect Programme. This mentorship initiative connects early-career researchers with more experienced Fellows and College members, offering guidance within a supportive, collegiate environment. It aims to help early-career researchers identify challenges, find solutions, and plan their next career steps.

Free from the formalities of departmental hierarchies, this programme provides a unique space for personal growth, career planning, and reflection while treasuring the diverse experiences and expertise within Wolfson College community.
