Barista

Wolfson College seeks a friendly and experienced Barista to prepare and serve top quality coffee for our prestigious community. Wolfson is one of the largest graduate colleges in the University of Oxford, with over 800 students. The College’s modern and outstanding café is a popular place for relaxed studying or socialising.

Duties of the post include preparing and serving coffee, other drinks and food, opening and closing the Café and Common Room, assisting in ordering and checking supplies, clearing tables, washing up and cleaning the Café and Common Room, as well as ensuring that the areas are pleasant and welcoming at all times.

An ideal candidate will be a trained barista with experience of work in a similar setting, but training will be provided for an exceptional candidate if necessary. Excellent customer service, team spirit and a positive attitude will be a must.

The salary is £23,795 per annum for a 40-hour week. Working hours are 9.00 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. Flexibility to cover other shifts, which may include weekends is required.
