Nursery Nurse (qualified)

Wolfson College, University of Oxford, is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic qualified Nursery Nurse or unqualified Nursery Assistant to join our Day Nursery team.

Wolfson is one of the largest graduate colleges in the University of Oxford. Our long-established nursery provides full day care for up to 25 children. We understand that a successful nursery is built on the experience of motivated, happy staff and we realise the importance of their development.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in childcare and have the experience to contribute to the smooth running and high-quality early years practice within the setting. He or she will need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated, a good team player that enjoys planning fun activities for the children and is able to build good relationships with children and families across the nursery. He or she will have a commitment to ensuring the safeguarding of children and promoting their welfare at all times

The starting salary for Level 3 is £28,568 pa. Working hours are 42.5 hours per week, worked between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm Monday to Friday.
