Wolfson College, University of Oxford, wishes to appoint a Senior Library Assistant who will play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the College library and provide a welcoming and responsive service to library users. An ideal candidate will have experience of working in a reader-focused and service-orientated library. They will be familiar with fulfilment, cataloguing and acquisitions and will support library operations maintaining a high standard of accuracy, consistency and attention to detail. They will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a high standard of IT literacy and knowledge of library resources. They will be enthusiastic about working in the library and information profession.

This is a new role within Wolfson College library. Working closely with the Librarian you will have the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills and you will be encouraged to ensure the efficient management of the library and the enhancement of services. This role will appeal to someone who likes a multi-tasking, hands-on environment, a variety tasks and who enjoys engaging with a lively reader community. Wolfson College is a great place to work. This is a part time role which involves 22 hours per week paid at the rate of £16,624 per annum (FTE £27,581). The College has a reputation as an excellent employer.
